Site Owners not working properly

I've got the wsp installed. I downloaded it the 9th Aug 2010. It seems to be working but the column in the Site Listing labeled Site Owners appears to be listing everyone who has access to the site. This is making the listing extremely long. Is there something wrong with a filter somewhere?

Hi,

This field has three ways of being populated. These are outlined in 'Configure Scan Job' page in central administration.

Please can you check these settings and confirm that the users that are being captured are not included in any of the enabled classifications? Also please try limiting these classifications to a small group of users such as enabling only the 'Site Collection Administrators'.

It coudl be that all three classifications are not suitable for your deployment.

Hi,

I have found this Bug in File "ScanJobHelperMethods.cs" at Line 169.

Orginal:

if (rootWebInSite.DoesUserHavePermissions(SPBasePermissions.ManageWeb))

And it must be:

if (rootWebInSite.DoesUserHavePermissions(u.LoginName, SPBasePermissions.ManageWeb))

Thanks for highlighting the bug - please can you log this as an issue so it can be addressed in the next release?
